I have sat down to write this a few times, but it always feels like so many words or then again not enough.
Funny … since I tend to be an over-sharer 😉

I want to make sure that you know and understand that Perfectly Knotty is NOT going out of business! This is HAPPY … we are not sad about this! Even though it is huge and different!
Some of you are aware that for the last couple of years I have been struggling with some health concerns. Nothing scary or unmanageable, but certainly disruptive. My energy levels were very low and I wasn’t pouring into the store and my home life the way that is important to me. My husband and I have been talking about this for almost a year! And we made our decision at the beginning of January to move out of the store front, and be web based.
We had some events and business commitments that needed to be accomplished first. And then the world shutdown, send those obligations into chaos. BUT the shutdown time was actually really good for me, for us. It allowed me to shift my schedule to match my husband, which was amazing to eat dinner together and have more than just Sunday off together for the first time in 7 years! The shutdown time allowed me to really dig into my website and make it something USEFUL! (there’s still TONS of work to do there so please stay tuned!)
For us, the shutdowns, while inconvenient and limiting afforded us an amazing experience to reconnect as a couple. Which is important when 2 autonomous workaholics are married. And I finally was able to get and sustain the rest I needed. The shutdown really just validated for us that the decisions we made in January were right for Perfectly knotty and US!

As of RIGHT NOW, all regular yarns that will continue to be part of the Perfectly Knotty selection are available only through the website. While we are still in the store front, you can choose local pick up and stop by the shop to pick up your order. Please be understanding that I’m operating 2 locations, and I’m still unpacking and organizing the yarn into the Yarn Room at the house, so it can take me longer to get orders processed than usual.
