I'm knitting for the curiosity, the experience, the methodical meditative process.
It's been an emotionally challenging week for me, and today I was able to just rest and knit on my socks and self-care.
What brings you peace when it feels like your world is shifting and there's nothing you can do but hold on?

Sock progress update:

I like that with a toe up sock I can try it on! the front of my foot is extremely wide and my heel is very narrow, so I am going to be adjusting the number of stitches so I get a more precise fit because these are intended for wearing with my hiking boots and I need them to fit very well.
I like the way the remix light works up and feels on my foot. I am really hopeful that it holds up well in use.

Concentric is REALLY soft and begs to be stitched into something delicious!

This yarn feels like an investment yarn at first at $48 a skein, but it is also a great value given the huge yardage! Let's do a little math:
For a little perspective, 1 skein of Llama Una is a dk (Concentric is worsted) and has 109 yards! To get comparable yardage, you need 4 skeins, at $13 each, which would be $52 dollars. Don't just look at the per-skein sticker price.

Be sure to consider yardage and fiber quality too 😉
