What’s the point of investing your time, talent, effort and yarn to crochet or knit something that is going to sit in a pile or drawer!?
This is just a quick look at real hand stitched items being used by me, “in the wild”!

I designed this Lace Wings Tunic with Hempathy … Honestly it really took me about 5 years total because I had to re-do the sleeves several times before they were right! But now I LOVE IT and I’m thinking about making another one using Bamboo Pop! It wont take me nearly as long to make another one now, and it’s just so very wearable. My husband likes it! Which is saying something!

I paired it with this wrap I crocheted using the Interlocking Rows technique that I teach in this YouTube Video
For the wrap, I used a size P hook.
I used one strand of Uluru through the whole thing and use a second strand of Folio, changing color to create the striping and “fade” color transition.
I started with 48 Foundation Single Crochet, which you can learn in this tutorial:
This wrap is so amazingly squishy and warm! Perfect for those deep cold winter days that we often get here in February. To juxtapose with the reception of the tunic, my husband is not fond of the wrap LOL
What did you make that you wear the most?
If you got your yarn at Perfectly Knotty, I’d LOVE to see pictures! You can submit a picture and the project information through the button on the Brag Board Page and you will eventually get to see your project featured.
Love to all!
