Creating your Ravelry project file only takes a few minutes and is a great way to create a record of the items you make!
Why should you consider recording your projects in Ravelry?
There are a few reasons! It’s good for you to have a record of the things you make, especially if you give them away. You can make notes about any modifications you made from the original pattern, or if you found an error.
This then can help other Ravelers! Ravelry is what is called an “open source” website, which means that he information there is only as good as what the users put there! Your project files, tagging the pattern designer, and the store where you bought your yarn help to promote and those hard working people that are providing this necessary items for your stitching enjoyment! It doesn’t cost you anything, and it helps designers and yarns stores to get found!
