We love the row height we get when we use a double crochet, but many times we do NOT love the open gaps between the stitches!
Connected Double Crochet is a perfect solution! Join each double crochet to the one prior to it!
Did you even know you could do that!? Well, get your practice yarn and hook and lets get to it.
Here are the Step-By-Step instructions, and there is a video I made for you, at the bottom of the post!

insert your hook in the next stitch, yo and draw up a loop

Repeat ** to ** to the end of the row, or desired number of stitches.

Have fun with this and let me know how it works out for you, and what you make!
Don’t forget to share this Connected Double Crochet tutorial with your stitching community!
